Welcome to the WRITING learning experiences page!

Each week you will come here for your WRITING learning choices. You should choose 2 WRITING tasks each week from the choices below for your Choice Board. New choices will be added weekly, but you can still choose a task from a previous week if you haven't already completed it. Some choices require you to do lessons in order. Tasks with more than one part will say so in their description. Get creative as you pen through your WRITING tasks!

Week 11 (June 15 - June 19) WRITING Learning Experiences

Writing Task 1 - Super students seriously study science in school. Say what? Writer's use alliteration, the repetition of similar sounds, to enhance their writing. See how Chris Van Allsburg uses this strategy in his story, The Z was Zapped and then try some alliterations of your own.

Week 10 (June 8- June 12) WRITING Learning Experiences

Writing Task 1 - Punctuation helps our writing make sense. What happens when punctuation takes a vacation? Try this activity out and learn about each type of punctuation and get some punctuation practice in!

Writing Task 1 - Now that you have had time to work on your writing at home, we want you to share what your BEST writing environment would be like.
